2. Nature of the Product (Development Kit)
The customer acknowledges that StepSprite is sold as an Open Hardware Development Kit, not a finished consumer electronic appliance.
- Assembly Required: The product requires minor assembly (e.g., connecting battery, snapping case) by the user.
- Intended Use: This kit is designed for educational, research, and development purposes to evaluate the Nordic nRF52840 MCU and ankle-based motion algorithms.
- Not a Medical Device: StepSprite is not a medical device and should not be used for diagnosis or treatment of any condition.
3. Orders and Pricing
- Prices are listed in EUR and may include VAT (where applicable under EU OSS rules).
- We reserve the right to cancel orders due to stock shortages or pricing errors. In such cases, a full refund will be issued immediately.
4. Shipping and Delivery
- Territory: We currently ship to member states of the European Union, the UK, and Switzerland.
- Method: Due to lithium battery regulations, all orders are shipped via Ground Transport (Road/Rail). Express Air shipping is not available.
- Risk of Loss: Risk transfers to the customer upon delivery of the goods to the carrier (Speedy/DPD), subject to consumer protection laws.
5. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Bulgarian law:
- Worbee Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this kit.
- Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.
- We are not responsible for damage caused by improper assembly, soldering, or modification of the hardware.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Bulgaria.
