Statutory Guarantee
In accordance with EU Directive 2019/771 and the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act, StepSprite comes with a 2-year legal guarantee covering lack of conformity (hardware defects) existing at the time of delivery.
What is Covered
- Manufacturing defects in the PCB (Printed Circuit Board).
- Failure of onboard components (Bluetooth chip, Accelerometer) under normal use.
- Battery capacity dropping below 80% within the first 6 months.
What is NOT Covered (Exclusions)
The warranty does not cover:
- Unauthorized Changes: Damage caused by opening, modifying, or attempting to repair the device yourself.
- Physical Damage: Damage caused by bending, crushing, dropping, or otherwise physically altering the case, battery, or electronics.
- Unsupported Firmware: Failures caused by flashing incompatible or experimental firmware.
- Improper Use: Water damage (the device is splash-resistant, not waterproof), or charging with non-standard chargers (>5V).

Contact [email protected] with a description of the fault and photos. If the defect is covered, we will repair or replace the unit free of charge.
