- A finished StepSprite device, ready to pair and wear

Charging basics
Section titled “Charging basics”- StepSprite charges over
USB-C. - You do not need a proprietary cable.
- Use a standard
5VUSB-C power source. - If the device is new to you, give it a full charge before your first longer day.
Battery life
Section titled “Battery life”The current customer-facing estimate is up to 50 hours on a charge.
Real battery life depends on how you use it:
- frequent syncing means more Bluetooth activity
- longer periods away from the app usually use less phone-side activity
- firmware updates and repeated reconnect attempts use more power than normal wear
What the battery number means
Section titled “What the battery number means”Battery percentage in the app is an estimate based on the device’s voltage reading.
That is useful for everyday decisions like “charge it tonight” or “I can wait until tomorrow,” but do not treat it like precision instrumentation.
Good charging habits
Section titled “Good charging habits”- Charge before firmware updates if you are below
20%. - Charge if the app warns that the battery is low or critical.
- If StepSprite will not reconnect after a long day, charge it before you do anything more complicated.
Care notes
Section titled “Care notes”- StepSprite is not waterproof.
- Avoid crushing, bending, or opening the device.
- If you use unsupported firmware, you may need extra recovery steps and warranty coverage may not apply.
