Goals, Reminders, and Notifications
StepSprite supports:
- a daily step goal
- a weekly step goal
Goals are optional. If you leave them off, StepSprite still tracks and syncs normally.
The Stats tab uses those goals for progress rings and summaries.
Daily sync reminder
Section titled “Daily sync reminder”This reminder is meant to solve one specific problem: forgetting to open the app and sync.
Important details:
- it is optional
- the app asks for notification permission only if you turn it on
- the reminder starts after your first successful sync
- it is not a background Bluetooth sync feature

Add a screenshot of the goals fields and reminder toggle in Settings or onboarding.
If notifications are denied
Section titled “If notifications are denied”StepSprite does not keep nagging.
If iOS says no, the reminder toggle switches back off and the app shows an inline error. You can enable notifications later in iPhone Settings.
What reminder notifications do not mean
Section titled “What reminder notifications do not mean”They do not mean:
- your device is constantly syncing in the background
- StepSprite is polling Bluetooth all day behind the scenes
- you need to keep the app open every minute
They only mean the app is reminding you to come back and sync when it makes sense.
