Workouts Tab
The Workouts tab is where you manually start and end a StepSprite workout.
What the tab shows during a workout
Section titled “What the tab shows during a workout”- workout steps
- cadence in steps per minute
- duration
- estimated distance
- estimated calories
- time since last step
- recent workouts
Add a screenshot showing the large workout step count plus distance, calories, and duration tiles.
Starting a workout
Section titled “Starting a workout”Tap Start Workout when you want a clean, manual workout record.
That is useful when:
- you want a dedicated indoor walking workout in Apple Health
- you want a clear start and end point
- you do not want to dig that session out of all-day steps later
Ending a workout
Section titled “Ending a workout”StepSprite is strict here for a reason.
The app wants the device to be connected and recent history sync to be finished before it ends the workout. That keeps the total more accurate and reduces partial or stale results.
If the End Workout button is disabled:
- reconnect to the device
- wait for current history syncing to finish
- then try again
Add a short clip that shows Start Workout, live metrics updating, and End Workout after history sync is idle.
After the workout ends
Section titled “After the workout ends”Finished workouts keep a frozen snapshot of the visible metrics.
That means the workout card still makes sense even after you disconnect or come back later.
Recent Workouts
Section titled “Recent Workouts”The recent workout list at the bottom is the fastest way to check what you recorded recently.
If you expected a workout and do not see it there, start with How Sync Works and Steps Not Syncing.
